Horizon Rug Cleaning and Restoration is a hand cleaning and restoration workshop serving Manhattan homes. We clean, repair and return rugs that people intend to keep.
Our approach
Quiet work, done properly
A rug is a structure as much as a surface. Warp, weft, knot density and dye chemistry all decide what a rug can safely take, so every piece is inspected by hand before any work begins.
From there the process is deliberate: dusting, testing, hand washing, controlled drying, and repair where the weave has given way. Nothing is forced, and nothing is treated as routine.
We are licensed and insured, careful in the home, and clear about price before we start. Rugs are returned to your home in better condition than the day they left.
